'Prison Break' Actor Gets Three Years For Drunken Driving Crash
Former 'Prison Break' actor Lane Garrison has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison for a drunken driving crash that killed a teenager. The 27-year-old Garrison pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter, drunken driving and providing alcohol to a minor after driving his Land Rover into a tree last December. Two 15-year-old girl passengers were injured and a 17-year-old passenger was killed. Garrison said he met the teens at a store and was on his way to a party with them when the accident happened. On 'Prison Break', Garrison played 'Tweener' and was sent to Fox River State Penitentiary for stealing a baseball card collection from a friend. The collection included a card worth $300,000, which he was unaware of. However, because of its worth, he was charged with grand larceny and subsequently sentenced to five years. Garrison had a blood alcohol level nearly twice California's legal limit at the time of the incident and he could have received a maximum sentence of six years in prison.
