The official list of 'celebrities' for the upcoming season of 'The Apprentice', the celebrity edition has been announced by NBC.
Eight of the nine names we reported last month made the final list alongwith a few additions, as expected, so let's get to it:
Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: Yes, the villain from season one that everyone loves to hate will back. Lennox Lewis: The former Heavyweight champion of the boxing world himself. Gene Simmons: Lead singer of 'Kiss'. Tito Ortiz: Former UFC title holder. Stephen Baldwin: Baldwin brother who's a veteran of movies and TV. Vincent Pastore: He played 'Big Pussy' on 'The Sopranos'. Carol Alt: A supermodel/actress. Marilu Henner: Played Elaine Nardo on 'Taxi'. Nadia Comaneci: Gold medal winning gymnast, and also first to be awarded a perfect score of 10 in an Olympic gymnastic event. Tiffany Fallon: Playboy model; no relation to SNL's Jimmy Fallon.. Jennie Finch: 6' 1" Gold medal winning softball pitcher. Nely Galan: Can honestly say we've never heard of her, but she's a Latina television producer.
All in all, a handful of recognizable names but nothing spectacular. But don't tell that to Donald Trump, in typical Trump fashion he says "this will be the most exciting season of The Apprentice yet—maybe even better than season one."
The winner will win $250,000 for their designated charity, and it's reported that various challenges will also revolve around fundraising, for which the celebrities can use their connections to earn money for various charitable organizations.
