This week's issue of 'The Star' magazine reveals how Jessica Simpson [photos] was dumped by Adam Levine - using nothing more than a text message.
He let Jessica Simpson know it was over with a short message that read: "Really busy. Need Space".
As for her decision to divorce Nick Lachey, her Christian mother has come out and praised Simpson for filing for divorce insisting that ending a marriage takes a lot of bravery.
Simpson has also hinted in recent weeks that she isn't very keen on continuing her music career and may prefer doing more acting, even though she is contracted for three more records.
"Music will always be my passion, but I don't have to do it professionally. It's just not really about that for me anymore", she said.
