Dolly Parton 'Shocked' By Howard Stern's Audio Clips Of Her
Country music star Dolly Parton says she's shocked at the seemingly racist and sexually suggestive sound bites of her played on Howard Stern's satellite radio show, claiming to be from her audio book. "I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life," Parton says. "I cannot believe what Howard Stern has done to me. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing. Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this." 'The Howard Stern Show' frequently edits recordings from celebrities to make them "say" something else altogether, and has been doing so for years, for a few laughs but Parton isn't laughing and is threatening to sue Stern for the prank. "If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it's going to be over this," says Parton. "I am completely devastated by this." We've got the audio from the segment below:
