A blatantly false rumor that claims Miley Cyrus [photos] is dead is making the rounds.
But not only is there a rumor, someone has gone through the trouble of making fake news reports to support the claim.
One report claims that Cyrus was killed in a car accident in Oklahoma as her car "skidded off a rain-slicked highway and plunged into a river, killing her and two others."
Not only is the report inaccurate, because Cyrus is currently in New York City -- nowhere near Oklahoma -- and even took the stage at the fifth annual Fashion Rocks concert on Friday night.
Not to mention the fact that the supposed story also contains a spelling error.
We thought we'd post a rebuttal to the rumor since young Miley Cyrus fans probably went into shock at news of the teen queen's death.
But rest assured, tweens, Miley is doing just fine.
