The oldest Jonas brother, 21, proposed to his girlfriend of two years on Wednesday. The two met in May 2007 while their families were vacationing in the Bahamas.
"Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage," parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. say in a statement.
"Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband."
Kevin's representative says that he surprised Deleasa, after taking an overnight flight from Vancouver with a cushion-cut diamond ring by showing up at her New Jersey home on Wednesday morning.
The singer tells 'People' magazine his girlfriend's reaction as "yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row."
"Congrats big brother," younger brothers Joe and Nick said on their Twitter page. "Dani welcome to the family, we can't wait to have you join us on the road!"
Kevin Jonas is engaged to Danielle Deleasa.
