David Arquette has announced he is going to live in a glass box in New York City to raise money for the hungry.
The 37-year-old actor, who is best known for his role in the 'Scream' movies and being married to Courteney Cox [photos], plans to stay in a Plexiglas box above the Madison Square Garden marquee on Tuesday and Wednesday next week to raise money for Feeding America, a hunger relief charity.
Arquette is expected to stay in the box each day for about eight hours during his two-day stay in the enclosure.
Sure, that takes some of the shine off the feat but at least Arquette isn't afraid to make that clear, unlike the misleading stunt endurance artist and illusionist David Blaine tried pulled last September in New York.
Donations will be accepted on location, which may also give you a chance to run into Courteney Cox, as well as through text messages. Details can be found on the Snickers candy bar Facebook page.
Arquette hopes to raise $250,000 for the charity that consists of a nation-wide network of more than 200 food banks and food rescue organizations.
