ESPN Sports reporter Erin Andrews is the latest celebrity to be caught naked on camera.
This after someone taped Erin Andrews changing in her hotel room and leaked the footage online. The five minute video, shot through a peephole, shows Erin Andrews nude as she gets dressed for an event (link).
There was some debate about whether the blonde woman in the video was in fact Erin Andrews, although there was an undeniable similarity.
However, with her lawyers now outraged at the invasion of privacy, that is certainly no longer the case.
"While alone in the privacy of her hotel room, Erin Andrews was surreptitiously videotaped without her knowledge or consent," they say in a statement.
"She was the victim of a crime and is taking action to protect herself and help ensure that others are not similarly violated in the future."
"Although the perpetrator or perpetrators of this criminal act have not yet been identified, when they are identified she intends to bring both civil and criminal charges against them."
Erin Andrews joined ESPN in 2004 and has served as sideline reporter for its College Football, Major League Baseball and college basketball telecasts.
She made news a few weeks ago after being struck by a foul ball in the chin at a New York Mets baseball game. She was rushed to the hospital, but only suffered bruises.
