'Criminal Minds' Shemar Moore Breaks Leg After Hit by Car

'Criminal Minds' star Shemar Moore is on the mend after being hit by a car while riding his bike.

"His leg was broken, but otherwise he's ok," says his publicist, Staci Wolfe.

The 39-year-old, who plays Special Agent Derek Morgan on the crime procedural, is said to be doing well and resting at home after a brief hospital stay.

And Moore isn't the only one recuperating. Matthew Gray Gubler, who plays Dr. Spencer Reid, also recently had knee surgery, which had to be written into the first episode.

"You won't see much running from the cast,” jokes Wolfe.

But unlike Gubler, it sounds like Moore will definitely miss some time on the show due to the accident: "I know for the show that Joe Mantegna will be filling in for scenes," says a CBS publicist.

"I don't think any other decisions have been made because it just happened, they're just looking at what they need to film for the rest of the episode. They're just starting their second episode."
