Katy Perry's Manager Literally Pulls Plug On TV Interview (Video)
It happened when Sunrise entertainment editor Nuala Hafner began her question with "Who's your favourite Australian ..." Afraid that Perry was being asked to name her favourite Australian designer, the manager literally pulled the plug on the interview. Katy Perry was embroiled in a legal battle over her name with Australian fashionista Katie Perry until the case was dropped earlier this year so he was no doubt afraid over where the answer may lead. But as it turns out Hafner says she was merely going to ask who the singer's favourite Australian artist was. "We thought someone must have tripped over the lead to the lights but we later found out Katy's manager pulled the plug because he thought I had asked an offensive question," says Hafner. "Katy was just delightful and very keen to make amends. She calmed him down and, after several apologies, the interview resumed." See a short clip of the incident below:
