On an episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance' this week, a contestant during the Atlanta audition episode fell to the floor in excitement after getting a nod from the judges to move on.
She rolled around on the floor to celebrate. But in her excitement, it appeared that she gave viewers a peek at her no panties look.
The contestant was only briefly shown in a montage but the potentially offensive footage was uncensored and neither blurred nor edited which left some viewers shocked.
When asked about the unexpected flash by the paparazzi, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe was caught off guard and replied: "None of us knew she did this. The show was always designed to expose talent, but not in this way."
However, now Fox claims that their standards and practices department did notice the display prior to airing and let it go through because they believe it was just "a crease in the young lady's panties."
"The footage in last night's So You Think You Can Dance was reviewed thoroughly by the network's Broadcast Standards & Practices prior to air," adds the network, "and it was separately confirmed with the dancer that she was wearing flesh-toned dance gear."
