ABC To Promote Show With Giant 'V's Across The Sky

ABC will be taking the skies to promote 'V', its remake of the popular 80s alien invasion series.

Beginning this Friday, the network will be using skywriters to create giant V's across the sky at twenty six undisclosed landmarks.

Although it's being reported that the Statue of Liberty in New York and Hollywood's iconic Capitol Records building are likely locations.

The skywriting will be done more than once a day at each landmark leading up to the series premiere on November 3 at 8 PM.

ABC is heavily promoting the series. However, with 'V' set to go on hiatus after four episodes, until the conclusion of Winter Olympics, the promotion won't have nearly the same impact as it would have if it the episodes ran together.

The series will likely do better if it's held back until the end of the games altogether but hopefully it's not a move the network will come to regret.
