In an interview with Howard Stern on his radio show this week, Rosie O'Donnell claimed that she and Angelina Jolie [photos] almost dated.
Asked about her love life before spouse Kelli Carpenter, who she is currently having problems with, O'Donnell recalled a long-ago interaction with Angelina Jolie before the actress married Billy Bob Thornton.
"She gave me her phone number," O'Donnell told Stern. "We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through."
"I was a little afraid of her," she added. "She's scary in a sexual kind of way. I have dreams about her a lot still."
As for her issues with Carpenter, who she married in 2004, the 47-year-old said they both have "different styles of living" and have "come to a point where we are seeing if what will make everyone happiest is maybe to not live together, but continue to parent."
"I'm very messy. She's very not. I don't know that we're going to be together. I think we're working through what's best for all of us."
The two have three adopted children, the oldest being fourteen and the youngest nine years of age.
O'Donnell refused to say much more about their relationship but did assure her fans of one thing: "Kelli and I have a lot of issues and sex wasn't one of them."
