In an appearance with Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Palin said she's puzzled by Levi Johnston's decision to pose nude for Playgirl.
"I don't think a national television show is the place to discuss some of the things he's doing and saying," she said of the 19-year-old father of her daughter Bristol's baby
"So many of the inconsistencies... That's Levi's gig right now. And I really don't want to comment on that because he's on a road that's not a healthy place to be. He's a teenager."
"And by the way, I don't know if you call him Levi. I hear he goes by the name 'Ricky Hollywood' now," she joked. "If that's the case, we don't want to mess up the gig he's got going. Kind of this aspiring porn. It's a bit heartbreaking to see the road that he is on right now."
Plain added she was 'disappointed' by Levi's implication that she and Todd weren't good parents and that Bristol practically raised her sister Piper.
"I was disappointed in those who were handling him and sending him onto these stages to discuss things that aren't true," Palin said. "The whole premise of Levi having lived with Bristol is false and from there, though, you take that foundational untruth and you can kind of measure all the other things that he's saying."
"This can all work out for good," she concluded as she threw out a Thanksgiving invitation for Levi. "It really can. We don't have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time. We're not really into the drama. We don't really like that…We have other things to think about."
Palin said running in 2012 is "not on my radar screen right now," but later added she wouldn't have admitted even if it was.
