'American Idol' runner-up Adam Lambert closed out the 2009 American Music Awards with a charged S&M-themed performance on Sunday night.
Adam Lambert's AMA performance included fondling a female dancer, gyrating against his dancers, simulating oral sex with a dancer, kissing a male band member and leading two leather-clad men across the stage on leashes.
The broadcast cut away during the part where Lambert grabbed a dancer and put his mouth on his crotch but it wasn't quick enough.
The AMA performance has got some upset because it wasn't 'appropriate' for the awards and it's sure to be a hot topic on Monday. According to early reports, some of the more raunchier bits were definitely not rehearsed and came as a surprise even to organizers.
