Eddie Cibrian may have cheated on his wife with LeAnn Rimes but you dare not suggest that he's been two-timing Rimes.
Cibrian is suing 'Life & Style' magazine for suggesting that he has now cheated on girlfriend LeAnn Rimes.
In a defamation suit filed at the end of last week, Cibrian's lawyer says: "Since the separation from his wife, Eddie Cibrian has not had a romantic or sexual relationship with any woman other than Ms. Rimes."
The suit claims that the magazine's article titled 'Eddie's Cheating on LeAnn Already!' was "rife with demonstrably false accusations" and the tabloid didn't do anything to verify its story. It further blames the rag for spawning 'hundreds of articles' alleging infidelity by Cibrian.
Cibrian is seeking $1 million in damages, plus an injunction against the republishing of the cheating story.
This from the same man who initially denied reports of the affair, only to shack up with LeAnn Rimes weeks later.
Cibrian's wife of nearly eight years, Brandi Glanville, separated at the end of July. She later described him as a 'compulsive liar'.
"He's just somebody I don't know. I don't understand," she said at the time. "You think you know one thing and you wake up and it's all been a lie. Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker. And he has been an absentee father."
