Charlie Sheen's Merecedes SUV has been found crashed in a steep ravine near his Sherman Oaks home.
Los Angeles police arrived on the scene after they received an emergency call around 4 AM from an OnStar-style system that calls when there may be an emergency with the vehicle that may require assistance.
Around the same time, Sheen apparently called police to say his four-door Mercedes-Benz had been stolen
The Mercedes was found overturned hundreds of feet down the cliff, but police say so far there's no evidence anyone was in the car when it went into the ravine.
When 'The Insider' got Charlie on the phone for details on the crash, he joked: "It was nice to have police come to my house and for once and I didn't have to leave with them."
Sheen will reportedly be charged with a felony on Monday for putting a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller's throat and threatening to kill her on Christmas Day.
