Jason Bateman Apologizes, Blames Paparazzi for Cutting iPhone Line
Jason Bateman says he's sorry for cutting in front of a hundreds of people in line to get the new iPhone. Although the former 'Arrested Development' star claims he didn't hear any boos from the people security led him past, contrary to reports from the scene. The actor was plucked out of line, after just a short time waiting, by Apple store employees and personally escorted inside ahead of those who had been waiting for hours to get their hands on the device. "There wasn't one boo," Bateman posted on his Twitter. "Not one hiss. The Apple guy brought me in away from the paparazzi. Period. I was content in line. I wish I'd stayed." "Correction, If there were boos, I didn't hear them," he said. "If some were mad, I didn't see them. I wish I had. If you're out there, I'm sorry." Will Arnett, Bateman's former 'Arrested Development' co-star, backed up Bateman but clearly implied that the actor did in fact cut in line. "Show me someone who wouldn't have done the same and I'll show u a liar's liar," Arnett said. "You're a class act, anyone who knows you knows that."
