While promoting her new fall series 'Raising Hope', Cloris Leachman was asked about the recent upswing Betty White seems to be enjoying.
"I'm so sick of Betty White," Leachman joked. "Never liked her."
"But we're co-starring in a new movie, called 'You Again,'" she added, just to make sure everyone knew she was having some fun.
The 84-year-old appeared to be channelling the wild granny she plays in her Fox comedy during the entire press event.
She frequently answered questions that were directed at show creator Greg Garcia or co-star Martha Plimpton and refused to answer any writer who didn't introduce themselves.
At one point, Leachman even asked Plimpton if she had f--ked Garcia after she paid him a compliment.
"Now you see why we work extra-long hours," quipped Garcia, referring to Leachman's quips.
"As can see it's pretty easy. You don't have to do much," Plimpton added. "It's a sheer delight."
Asked whether winning Emmys still mattered to her, with her being the woman with the most Emmy wins, Leachman replied: "You bet! And I’d better win one for this show!"
