Charlie Sheen Leaves Hospital After Found Drunk & Naked in Hotel
Charlie Sheen is out of hospital and heading back to Los Angeles after being found drunk and naked in a New York hotel. Sheen was said to be highly intoxicated when officers arrived to his room around 1:30 a.m., and a woman with him told police that they had been out drinking and partying that night. She said he was yelling and tossing furniture when they returned to the room. Police were sent to The Plaza Hotel after a call from hotel security. The room was trashed when police responded, including damage to a chandelier and hotel furniture. The damage to the luxury suite reportedly totaled about $7,000. It's not clear exactly who the woman was since Sheen was in New York on a "family vacation." But it definitely wasn't ex-wife Denise Richards, who was staying at the hotel in a different room their two children. Life & Style magazine says the woman in the room with Sheen was an escort. "She was fearing for her life and was naked," reports the magazine. "Charlie was incoherent but started screaming slurs at the cops. They recognized him immediately and gave him two options: they could take him to the hospital or take him down to the station. Charlie chose the hospital." "Mr. Sheen was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital," confirms Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly. "No arrests were made. No one was willing to sign a complaint so he is being treated at the hospital." According to sources, Sheen, who was only a week away from completing his probation, admitted to cops he was drinking and had snorted cocaine. But Sheen's publicist claims it was nothing more than an adverse allergic reaction to medication. "What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital," Rosenfield says. Everything else is speculation." In an appearance on 'The Joy Behar Show', Denise Richards said there was more to the story but she will leave it up to Sheen to talk about it. "My daughters are 5 and 6 years old," Richards said. "They're at an age where they can start to understand, they have no idea what went on. And our stuff happened when they were much younger, which I'm so grateful for. We are in an amazing place, we've been getting along great for the last year and a half and, you know, we're doing our best." "So as far as that situation, I'm trying to protect the girls as much as possible." Sheen was discharged from hospital on Tuesday night.
