Kanye West used the sold-out crowd of the Bowery Ballroom in New York to vent his frustrations.
After thanking the crowd, West told them that he felt Taylor Swift used the now infamous incident at the 2009 Video Music Awards to bolster her image and make a name for herself.
"Taylor never came to my defense at any interview," West said. "And rode the waves and rode it and rode it. It's not about popular opinion, it's about when you look in your heart and know what's right and what's wrong."
West also blasted the media for 'exploiting' George W. Bush's recent comment that the rapper calling him a racist was one of his lowest points as president.
"Look at how they exploited it... to make you watch the interview," he ranted. "They said that he said that was his lowest moment. And as a mass, as America, we took that as a fact. If you look at the interview, he said, 'It's one of his lowest moments,' and he said it about 10 different things."
"But because the popularity of me, they exploited that to make you watch the interview and make you feel that he was stupider than ever. It shows you the way they try to villainize."
"There is no leader in history that has been villianized that way and didn't get killed at war or commit suicide, so any man that lives through it deserves one moment of redemption."
