Piers Morgan will interview Larry King on CNN later this week.
"I'm sure people will be fascinated by the dynamic between us, for obvious reasons," says Morgan.
The timing of the interview is interesting considering King told the BBC last week that Morgan "may have been oversold" to the public.
"I think he's a fine broadcaster; I haven't seen a lot, but the times I've seen they have been fine," King said. "One of the problems they did was to oversell it -- they said he was going to be dangerous, he was going to be water-cooler talk, it was 'wait till you see me, I'm different."
"Well, he's good -- but he's not that dangerous."
"I think they might have been better off starting quietly and that's not Piers' fault, or maybe it is, I'm not inside anymore. He's certainly not bad. He's certainly an acceptable host. He asks good questions, maybe he interrupts a little too much at times. I think he may have been oversold."
"May have to twang those suspenders to prove how dangerous I really am," jokes Morgan. "Got a feeling we may need to discuss Larry's claim that I'm 'oversold' and 'not dangerous.' I suspect there will be a little tension in the air."
Morgan may not have made a huge splash in the ratings but, since his launch, the host has helped up ratings for the timeslot by 40 percent compared with the last three months of 'Larry King Live'.
