Larry King's interview with Piers Morgan last month doesn't seem to have inspired any confidence in the British host.
King took another shot at his CNN replacement, who hosts the nightly 'Piers Morgan Tonight', in an appearance on 'Access Hollywood' on Thursday.
"It's like watching your mother-in-law go over a cliff in your new Bentley," he said of watching the new host.
Not that King is missing the job all that much: "There are days, when you have a terrible thing, like Japan happening, Libya, the events in Egypt, you want to be there. The Kardashians and Charlie Sheen, you could miss that one."
The veteran broadcaster also confirms he's already talked to Jon Stewart about appearing on 'The Daily Show' with his own segment every couple of weeks.
But King says what he loves doing most is attending his sons' little league games -- when he's allowed in the ballpark.
"I got thrown out of a game once," he explains. "I shouted to the umpire, 'You're a bum!' And this is a little league umpire working for 20 dollars a game. It wasn't the kindest thing to do, but he missed the call."
"He told me go back to CNN. And Beverly Hills Little Leagues, they are strict! When they throw you out, you have to leave the premises. You have to leave the field."
"I had to go out to La Cienega Boulevard and sit in the car. Then you're banned for the next game. And I'm sitting there thinking, 'I'm a world figure, I'm seen in 226 countries, I've interviewed leaders of all kinds and I'm sitting in a car outside a little league ballpark banned by an umpire... what a career builder!"
