Kate Walsh may be the star of a hit television show but the 43-year-old 'Private Practice' star says she expected more.
"I thought I'd be married and have three or four kids," Walsh tells 'More' magazine. "I always knew I wanted to be an actress, but I think I always wanted a quote-unquote normal life because I had a very traditional upbringing."
"I feel like a loser. I would definitely love to be a parent. But I definitely don't think I want to do it on my own. Things are just going to go the way they go."
Not that she would want to go through her divorce from 20th Century Fox exec Alex Young after just over a year of marriage again.
"Oh my God. The worst thing ever," she says of the split. "It was so public, and yet it was so legal-embroiled. You couldn't talk about anything. And I still can't really."
The two got married after seven months together.
"I've learned to seek other people's counsel more," she says. "That's a good part of growing up."
