'Prison Break' star Lane Garrison made an appearance on the 'Today' show this week to talk about his time in jail.
Garrison spent 22-months in jail after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter for a drunken driving crash that killed a teenager.
Toxicology reports concluded that he was under the influence of cocaine and his blood alcohol level was two and a half times the legal limit.
Garrison said he "absolutely, 100 percent" deserved to be in jail, and that he was hoping others would see him as an example of what not to do. He said he was "genuinely remorseful" and "sickened" by his behavior that night.
"I try to go on with my life by teaching other people," Garrison he said. "It was a painful experience that I would wish on no one."
Garrison will be appearing on upcoming episodes of 'The Event'.
