'24's Kiefer Sutherland Comments On Osama bin Laden Operation

Kiefer Sutherland, who played counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer for eight seasons on '24', is glad Osama bin Laden is finally dead.

"Sometimes real life is better than fiction," Sutherland writes on Twitter. "The world is a safer place."

Before the big announcement on Sunday, the actor's 'line for luck' for the day coincidentally hinted at what was to come: "We performed the impossible, boys, never forget that, never."

Sutherland is currently starring in a revival of Jason Miller's That Championship Season on Broadway. Following which he is expected to start working on his return to television with Fox drama 'Touch'.

Meanwhile, CBS drama 'NCIS' will reportedly digitally insert a red stripe across bin Laden's face on the Most Wanted list for the final three episodes, which have already been filmed.
