Crystal Harris Calls Off Wedding To 'Playboy's Hugh Hefner
Hugh Hefner says his fiancee has called off their wedding. The 85-year-old Playboy founder says that 24-year-old Crystal Harris has "had a change of heart." "The wedding is off," Hefner said on the magazine's official Twitter page. "Crystal has had a change of heart." The pair was scheduled to walk down the aisle Saturday in front of over 300 guests. Hefner, who has been married twice before, proposed to Harris on Christmas Eve. The fuchsia and turquoise Swarovski crystals laced invitations for the event were sent out in May. But Crystal Harris is denying rumors that Dr. Phil's son, Jordan McGraw, was the reason for the split. The reports first surfaced in March, when Harris and McGraw were spotted looking cozy at L.A. hotspot Chateau Marmont. "It's absolutely not true," says Harris. "There is no relationship, nor has there ever been one. I decided to end my engagement with Hef after much deep reflection and thought. I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward." Meanwhile, Hefner says at least the break up happened before the wedding. "The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage. Since we're not getting married on Saturday, I've scheduled a movie: Runaway Bride," he jokes. "Seems appropriate."
