Crystal Harris says she's relieved after calling off her wedding to Hugh Hefner just days before she was set to walk down the aisle.
"I called it off because I didn't think it was the right thing for me to do," Harris explained in a radio interview on Wednesday. "Hef's lifestyle isn't the most normal lifestyle. This isn't the lifestyle for me, multiple girls all around. It's not the lifestyle I wanted."
"For a while I've been having second thoughts about everything. I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. I didn't think it was really fair to him, They were gonna air a show on it. It was all happening too fast for me."
"It was mutual between Hef and I, there was no fight, we sat down and we talked about it. He understood. We both agreed that it wasn't the best idea to get married."
When asked if she thought Hefner would ever dare to tie the knot again, she replied: "No, he said he was just doing this wedding for me, he thought that's what I wanted. We're both relieved."
"I just feel that I owed it to Hef and everyone there to do the right thing and move on."
Harris denies rumors that she's romantically linked with Dr. Phil's son, Jordan.
"No, I'm not seeing someone else. Of course I have friends, I have plenty of friends in the music business, so you know, that's normal."
The last-minute change of plans has been made slightly more awkward by the fact that Harris is referred to as "Mrs. Crystal Hefner" on July cover of the newest issue of Playboy.
Additionally, Harris released her first single on Tuesday, the day the couple officially broke up -- suggesting she's looking to seize the publicity to further her music career.
The timing of the split wasn't lost on Hefner, either. He quoted a post from a Twitter follower questioning Harris' motives.
"OMG Crystal Harris left Hugh Hefner the day her single came out on iTunes," said the post. "Coincidence? I think not."
