'Lost' executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con to prove they had the series planned all along.
The pair said the scene, which was 'deleted' from 'Exodus', would show fans that they had the entire series mythology planned in the first season -- and reveal the real name of the Man in Black.
"We have the smoking gun," joked Lindelof. "We can show them a scene that clearly and specifically can make the question go away forever."
They then rolled the mock clip, which was filmed on the set of ABC's 'Brothers & Sisters' a couple of weeks ago and interwoven with the scene from the season one finale.
