Earlier this week, we told you about 'The Phantom Menace's puppet Yoda being replaced with a CGI version for the upcoming 'Star Wars' Blu-ray release.
But now comes an even more outrageous and noticeable change by George Lucas. In fact, when we first heard about this tweak we thought it had to be a hoax -- until Lucasfilm confirmed the alteration.
So what's been changed? Lucas has added audio to the classic Darth Vader scene in 'Return of the Jedi' where he commits his final redemptive act by throwing the evil Emperor Palpatine down a shaft.
In the original version, Vader was silent during the crucial moment which made it all the more poignant, but he now cries out 'Nooo!' -- much like he yelled out at the end of 'Revenge of the Sith'.
Comedian Paul Scheer and lover of all things geek says it best: "If George Lucas continues to change Star Wars at this rate in the year 2028 it will just become Spaceballs."
