Katherine and Joe Jackson believe "justice has finally been served" following the guilty verdict of Dr. Conrad Murray in Michael Jackson's death.
"We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn't hold back tears of joy in the courtroom," say the singer's parents in a statement.
"Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served. We can't wait to go home and share this day with Michael's children."
"Michael was looking over us," sister La Toya Jackson said as she was leaving the courthouse. She then curiously added, "Michael I love you and I will continue to fight until ALL are brought to justice!"
Meanwhile, singer Nicki Minaj was slightly more reflective of Conrad Murray.
"People are cheering but there really are no winners here," Minaj explained on Twitter. "This has been an utter tragedy from beginning to end."
Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter by jurors on Monday. He will be sentenced on November 29 and could face up a maximum sentence of four years in prison.
