NBC is remaking popular 1960s sitcom 'The Munsters'.
The network has ordered a pilot for a possible new series, that we first reported on back in August, helmed by 'Pushing Daisies' creator Bryan Fuller.
Fuller will write and executive-produce the reboot as a one-hour pilot that is slightly darker than the original and explores the origins of Herman and Lily Munster.
The original series, which ran from 1964 to 1966, starred Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo.
NBC is considering remakes of 'Romancing the Stone' and 'Wiseguy' for next fall while CBS is looking at a modern version of 'Bewitched' and ABC is working on 'The Incredible Hulk'.
