'Soprano's Edie Falco To Guest Star On '30 Rock'

Edith Falco, best known for her lead role as Carmela Soprano on HBO's award winning hit series 'The Sopranos', will be appearing on three episodes of NBC's '30 Rock' this season.

Falco says she's a fan of '30 Rock' and is very excited to be appearing on the show: "I have laughed out loud at this show, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with such great comic actors. I am very excited."

The show, which is nominated for 10 Emmys, stars Tina Fey, who also is creator and executive producer, and Alec Baldwin.

"We're thrilled to have such an amazing actress come join us... also, a lot of guys on our crew want 'The Sopranos' ending explained to them," she joked.

It was announced earlier this year that Jerry Seinfeld will also be guest-starring on '30 Rock'. The show returns for its second season on October 4, 2007.
