Before Donald Trump officially endorsed Mitt Romney for president, a reporter jokingly asked White House Press Secretary Jay Carney if Obama had sought the real estate mogul's endorsement.
"You know, I'm not going to comb over that question," said Jay Carney, taking a shot at Trump's often mocked hairstyle.
"I think the president gave his views of Mr. Trump at the dinner at many of you attended," he said referring to the beating he took at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May.
