When the talk show host ended his primetime show back in December 2010, he stayed on to do occasional specials for the network.
King did four specials within the past year but CNN says in a statement that the last of the specials aired in December.
"CNN and Larry King have mutually agreed to end the Larry King specials," the news network says in a statement. "We have the greatest respect for Larry and wish him the best of luck with his new endeavors."
While King adds, "I have nothing but love and respect for CNN, and I'm looking forward to all the wonderful business opportunities that I will now dedicate my full time to."
