Even though it hasn't filmed one second of 'Anger Management', FX has scheduled Charlie Sheen's return to television for June 28.
The cable network has set the premiere for the series, loosely based on the 2003 film about a non-traditional therapist, with two back-to-back episodes starting at 9 PM, followed by the second-season premiere of the comedy 'Wilfred' and the third-season premiere of 'Louie'.
Comedian Russell Brand's new talk show, 'Strangely Uplifting', will round out the night at 11 PM.
The following week, 'Anger Management' will move to its regular timeslot of 9:30. FX has ordered ten episodes of the series as of right now, but could increase its order after executives watch the completed episodes.
Selma Blair will play Charlie's therapist, Shawnee Smith will play his ex-wife, and Daniela Bobadilla has been cast as his 13-year-old obsessive-compulsive daughter.
Meanwhile, Brand's show will be shot in front of a live audience. FX describes the series as "Brand's unvarnished, unfiltered take on current events, politics and pop culture." The network has ordered six half-hour episodes.
