Showtime has announced that two of its top-rated dramas, 'Dexter' and 'Homeland', will return on September 30.
'Dexter' will return for its seventh season after what was largely regarded as lackluster season until its final moments with a taboo romance.
While 'Homeland' will return for its much anticipated second season after an award winning debut year that had viewers on the edge of their seats.
'Homeland' won two Golden Globes in January for Best Drama Series and Best Drama Actress for Claire Danes.
The two dramas were also successfully paired together last year, which saw 'Dexter' average 5.5 million viewers a week and 'Homeland' around 4.5 million.
