Naomi Wolf, author and supporter of the feminist movement, is slamming Katy Perry [photos]'s music video for 'Part of Me' as 'propaganda' for the Marines.
"Have you all seen the Katy Perry Marines video?," she asks on Facebook.
"It is a total piece of propaganda for the Marines. I really want to find out if she was paid by them for making it."
Watts goes on to call the video 'shameful' and suggests her readers should boycott Perry's music altogether.
"It is truly shameful," she says. "I would suggest a boycott of this singer whom I really liked -- if you are as offended at this glorification of violence as I am."
In the video, Perry cuts off all her hair and runs away to join the army after she catches her boyfriend cheating on her.
