Cynthia Nixon Marries Longtime Girlfriend Christine Marinoni
The 'Sex and the City' actress began dating Marinoni in 2004. They are parents to 15-month old Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, who Marinoni gave birth to last year. The 46-year-old Nixon also has two children from her marriage to photographer Danny Moses. Nixon got into some trouble earlier this year after she said homosexuality was "a choice." She later clarified she meant it was a choice for her, being attracted to both sexes, and it wasn't that way for most others. "I believe bisexuality is not a choice, it is a fact. What I have 'chosen' is to be in a gay relationship." "I do, however, believe that most members of our community—as well as the majority of heterosexuals—cannot and do not choose the gender of the persons with whom they seek to have intimate relationships because, unlike me, they are only attracted to one sex."
Cynthia Nixon has married longtime girlfriend Christine Marinoni, just over three years after getting engaged at a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York.
