Lindsay Lohan [photos] was hospitalized briefly Friday after slamming her Porsche into the back of an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway. But her Porsche wasn't so lucky.
The car was totaled with the passenger window shattered and the bumper fully off the vehicle.
But despite the severe damage to her vehicle, a rep for the actress says confirms Lohan is doing fine and was taken to hospital "as a precaution."
In fact, she's expected to be back at work filming 'Liz and Dick' on Monday, which chronicles Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's decade-long relationship.
"The driver of the truck received no injuries but Miss Lohan and a male passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital via ambulance," says Police Sgt. Richard Lewis.
They are approaching the crash as an "accident investigation" and "there were no signs of impairment."
"Gratefully it's not worse," he adds. "When you have a larger vehicle and a smaller vehicle involved in a collision, those can be devastating sometimes."
