Chris Pine says Benedict Cumberbatch fans will be pleased with what the 'Sherlock' star brings to the table as a villain in the sequel for the rebooted 'Star Trek'.
"He's one mean dude,!" Pine said the L.A. Film Festival. "He's great. Wait till people see. He's going to knock it out of the park, I promise."
The 31-year-old promised the sequel will be "bigger, brighter, faster and louder on the effects side."
As for the characters, he said "they are all still on their journey to becoming the crew that we know and love from the original series."
The 'Star Trek' sequel has a release date of May 2013.
