Former Disney star Kyle Massey and brother Christopher is suing the producers of 'Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp'.
The two claim they came up with the concept of the show, which features Bristol Palin living in luxury in Los Angeles with son Tripp, only to be cut from the project at the last minute without any compensation.
"It is unfortunate that after months of trying to resolve this matter the professional way, we were left with no other course of action than to take legal action to protect ourselves," reads the 31-page lawsuit.
"If you read the entire complaint, and particularly pages 8-11, you will see how we created the show, registered the show and did all the leg work to bring this idea to TV and to the defendants, who stole our concept."
Bristol Palin was not named as a defendant in the lawsuit but it would appear Massey has a case since the original reality show, which was developed and reported on last May, included Palin living with the brothers.
The Masseys are asking for damages, claiming they were guaranteed $500,000 to star in the show, and a permanent injunction on what they claim was their idea.
