Oprah Winfrey has tapped La Toya Jackson to star in a new reality show for OWN.
The network, which has struggled in the ratings, is borrowing a page from other cable networks in an attempt to boost its numbers.
'Life with La Toya' is one of three new series OWN announced Thursday, alongside 'The Customer Is Always Right' and 'Neighborvention'.
The series will follow every aspect of La Toya's day-to-day activities from her business dealings to her life with her famous family. It's described as a "candid look" inside Jackson's life.
"I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family," says La Toya. "This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life."
She isn't the first Jackson to land a reality show. 'The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty', that followed Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon and Tito Jackson, aired for six episodes on A&E in 2009.
OWN also unveiled the rest of its fall schedule, including another season of 'Oprah's Next Chapter', which will feature Jennifer Hudson, Stephen Colbert, Kelsey Grammer, and Bette Midler next season.
