Russell Brand says although he's been clean for ten years, he still misses doing drugs.
A new documentary to air next week on the BBC called 'Russell Brand: From Addiction to Recovery', the 37-year-old reacts to watching footage of his younger as a drug addict.
"This is when you know it's a disease. It doesn't matter that I sat in that flat in Hackney and now I'm in the Savoy. I'm jealous of me then," he says.
"It doesn't make a difference to me. The money, the fame, the power, the sex, the women—none of it," he says of his success. "I'd rather be a drug addict."
The documentary follows Brand's struggle to overcome his heroin addiction.
The comedian also got a new tattoo on his arm this weekend with a line is from a prayer attributed to St. Francis of Assisi that is often recited by recovering addicts.
