Mitt Romney has agreed to join the ladies of 'The View' next month, a day after his leaked private speech revealed that he deemed an appearance on the show "high risk" due to the "sharp tongued" women.
"The View is fine although it is high risk because of the five women on it, only one is conservative and four are sharp-tongued and not conservative," said Romney.
"Whoopi Goldberg in particular. Although last time I was on the show, she said, 'You know what? I think I could vote for you.' And I said, I must have done something really wrong."
The women discussed the footage Wednesday with co-host Sherri Shepard remarking that Romney wasn't fit for office if he couldn't even handle a daytime talk show.
"The thing about it, you know, if I can make a football analogy, this is just preseason," said Shepard. "This is an exhibition game. If you can't handle four sharp-tongued women, how are you going to handle the country?"
But Elisabeth Hasselbeck reached out following the show, Romney's campaign said they would "love to once more join the sharp-tongued chatter in October."
In the leaked video, Romney also said that he wouldn't host 'Saturday Night Live' because it could end up "looking slapstick and not presidential."
